We are facing an epidemic of pornography on the net of which the repercussions remain not fully understood. In fact it is frightening. With the click of a mouse, anyone, at any age, anytime can view porn online.
Governments are still tied up by the “it’s a free-speech issue” argument. The porn industry has managed to hold onto the idea that porn is victimless entertainment which involves only an individual and the consenting adults who participate. Regulations has yet to catch up with reality sufficient reason for technology. In a world where anyone can produce and upload porn videos or images, the internet is becoming filled to the brim with hardcore pornography and disturbing content that no-one should be exposed to, aside from our children!

There is no quantity of education or warning that may prevent children from viewing pornography on the web today. The average child will see porn by age eleven online. Children are curious, children share links by email, by chat, on smart phones… Really the only solution today is to install a porn filter on each computer your child has access to. In the home, friends, grandparents, school, the library, make sure a porn filter is installed on the computer. Demand it. It will not go away if you ignore it.
